Yes, a daily resort charge of $49 (USD) plus tax will be added to the room rate and includes the following (pending availability, first-come, first-served):

- Daily 1-hour kayak or paddleboard rental per room, 10am-4pm (weather permitting)
- 1-hour bicycle rental usage, daily
- 1 beach lounge per registered guest, daily (umbrella not included)

YES. Packages may be received in your name at the resort. All packages will be accepted and held for you by FedEx located on the 2nd floor, south side of the resort. For FedEx’s fee structure regarding receivals, plus instructions for proper address labeling for these packages, please click here.
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate or dates of your reservation. Please refer to your reservation confirmation to verify your cancellation policy. Yes, we are a pet-friendly property and welcome your furry travel companions. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Maximum of 2 pets per guest room (dog or cat only).
- Pets must be 50 lbs. in total weight combined or less.
- A non-refundable one-time $100 fee will apply.
- The Diplomat lends pet owners food and water bowls and a floor mat for on-site use. Additionally, we will provide you with a local Hollywood pet-friendly guide at check in which includes information about our Woof and Whiskers in-room dining menu.
If paying by credit card, a temporary “incidentals” authorization is placed on credit cards upon arrival in the amount of $250.00 per night at the resort. If there are no damages to the room, this charge is removed upon checkout. If paying by debit card, this amount is charged to the card and refunded upon checkout if there are no damages to the room.
The resort is 100% non-smoking. In order to support a smoke-free Florida, we are proudly a 100% smoke-free resort including our guestrooms, public areas, pools, and beach.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Minimum age to register: 18
Amenities
Yes! Experience our lush Infinity Pool and refreshing Lagoon Pool, both set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.
- Four beach chairs per day are included in the Resort Fee and are therefore complimentary.
- Additional beach chairs may be rented for $20 per day.
- Beach umbrellas may be rented for $30 per day.
- Beach daybeds start at $300 per day, depending on the day / week / month / season. For current pricing, please drop by the Verandah Social Club upon your arrival to the resort or browse options here.
Our covered parking garage features eight stories and two electric vehicle charging ports. Valet parking is available for all-day and overnight resort guests. Self-parking is reserved for non-resort guests only. Daily parking rates are subject to dynamic pricing and may vary based on demand and availability. Rates are also subject to change without notice. In/out privileges for the parking garage are permitted for overnight resort guests only.

Dining
The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is located about a mile and a half from the resort, about a five-minute drive, 30-minute walk, or seven-minute bike ride.
Yes, poolside and beach food and beverage are available and delivered directly to your cabana, daybed or chaise lounge. Additionally, you can dine at Playa for a full dining experience.
While The Diplomat Resort does not have inclusive dining packages, we do have six restaurants and bars on site for a diverse culinary experience during your stay. A generous breakfast buffet is available at Palmea Kitchen Monday–Friday 7:00–11:00 a.m. and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Reservations are not required at Diplomat Prime, but are highly recommended.
We invite you to experience Diplomat Prime in an atmosphere of modern elegance. Guests are to dress in relaxed professional or resort casual attire. Please refrain from wearing any hats, flip-flops, athletic shorts, tank tops, and sportswear.
