Jorge Negron is a distinguished culinary artist renowned for his exceptional talent and experience with fine dining. As the Chef de Cuisine at Diplomat Prime, an award-winning luxury seafood and steakhouse, Negron continues to redefine the standards of luxury gastronomy with a local coastal flare.
Negron's culinary journey is deeply rooted in a legacy of generational talent. Both his father and grandfather, chefs themselves, taught him the art of cooking and instilled an appreciation for locally sourced ingredients. Inspired by his family's culinary heritage, Negron pursued a culinary education at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. Since then, he has held various Executive Chef roles at upscale hotels across South Florida and co-owned and operated Originals Pizzeria, demonstrating his versatility in the culinary world.
Negron also recently claimed victory in the prestigious SOBE Seafood Festival Chef Showdown, dazzling with his exquisite crab fondue creation in the highly anticipated Battle Crab.
